La Mort dans l'Île plot

Violette Castillon, a young handsome lawyer from Paris arrives on the beautiful island of Ré. She defends Stany, a criminal who reveals that her late father, José Rocca, was a bank robber. Violette becomes fascinated by this. Before they can talk, however, Stany is attacked in prison and slips into a coma. The next day, a man is murdered on the island. Handsome detective Clément Borghese investigates the case and Violette soon finds out that the two have a connection; Borghese's younger brother was last seen with her father, José Rocca, after which the boy mysteriously disappeared.
