Former politician Johan Pijnenburg regularly comments on the news on television. When he speaks vehemently about a banker who has learned nothing from the crisis of 2008, a former colleague from the party, who had been sidelined by Pijnenburg at the time, takes this literally. He decides to punish the man and seeks a confrontation with Pijnenburg.
