Bruno (Christophe Le Masne) and Franck Spadone (Stanislas Merhar) work for a team of nimble pickpockets, who apparently bring in a nice sum of money every day with their 'work'. Things go awry, however, when Spadone falls for one of his victims, the beautiful comic book star Laura (Monica Bellucci). In the world of strip clubs, the freebooter encounters things he doesn't like, such as Laura's overprotective boss, Ferdinand (Carlo Brandt). But his blind love for her gets him involved in a plot by Laura and Ferdinand to kill a big mob boss. With the love for Laura on the one hand and the nostalgia for his old easy life on the other, Franck has to determine the right course.
