Face Value plot

Suppose your childhood friend turns out to be very rich these days. And criminal. And while you are temporarily in his spacious house, he is killed in an explosion on his yacht. That's what happens to Barry (Scott Baio). Effortlessly he takes over his friend's life. His house, his car, even his very attractive girlfriend. In mafia circles he pretends to be his friend in order to earn a few million illegal dollars. But something isn't right. Deaths begin to fall and Barry is suddenly chased by a hit man. Stealing someone else's life was the biggest mistake he could make.
