Entre Ces Mains-là plot

In a large regional hospital, everyone heaves a sigh of relief when anesthetist Berthelin is fired. She is a troublesome woman and not much liked by her colleagues. Shortly before her departure, a patient died on the operating table. Moreover, the deceased is not the first one: she was the wife of a prominent citizen of the town. However, it turns out that it was not only due to Berthelin's irresponsible absence from the operating room.
