El Taman plot
An ailing taxi driver, a left-wing intellectual and a teacher who fled Syria cross paths. Each in their own way, they are victims of a shady lawyer and of a world where money always seems to have the last word. Driven to despair by the cost of treating his seriously ill wife, taxi driver Magdy agrees to undertake a job that will test his conscience: the killing of a well-known writer.
