Divorcing Jack plot
Dan Starkey is a columnist who speaks weekly about politicians and especially Michael Brinn, the future Prime Minister of the United Ireland. However, Starkey is also a bon vivant and drinks like a heretic, which regularly gets him into trouble. One evening, when he was beating up the young pretty Margaret, dead drunk, he is caught by his wife Patricia... Things really get out of hand when later that same night he finds Margaret gruesomely murdered.... her last words: 'Divorcing Jack'. Was she murdered by Patricia or is there a conspiracy behind it? In search of the truth, he finds himself in a political minefield and more and more clues point to... himself.
