Die Letzte Begegnung plot

While on holiday in Bulgaria, a German scientist drowns. At first it looks like a tragic accident, but his wife finds it strange that his underwater camera, which he took with him for diving, has disappeared. He was also an excellent swimmer. Then it becomes clear to the investigators that it is a murder. The trail leads west, straight to an ominous information service.
