After brothel keeper Evelyn Frank testifies in court against her husband and his business partner, the woman ends up in a witness protection program. Evelyn Frank gets a new identity and starts a new life as Eva Bernhardt in a small village in the Bavarian Alps. Ines Meder and Holger Noltin are the escorts who have to keep an eye on her. They watch with sorrow as the life-experienced Evelyn Frank wraps the villagers around her fingers and tells them one lie after another. Her attendants are wary of her, but only late realize that she is losing control.
