Der Mörder und Sein Kind plot
A little girl from a children's home is murdered on the German Wadden Island of Amrum. Shortly afterwards, another child is killed. Martin Dreyer (Ulrich Tukur) is the culprit and he carries this terrible burden with him. He makes a suicide attempt that fails, turns to alcohol and acts irritated against his usual environment. He falls in love with Sonja and thinks he can start a new life. Then he discovers that Sonja also has a daughter.
