Darkness Falls plot

As Mark Driscoll returns home, his wife Sally is spied on. The voyeur enters the house and introduces himself as John Barrett. He claims to know the Driscolls from a party. While Sally gets him a drink, he disarms the alarm system. When Mark finds the stranger at home, he wants the uninvited guest out the door as soon as possible, because he has an important appointment. However, John has other plans. It gradually becomes clear that John has deliberately chosen the time to invade the Driscolls' house.
