A nice concept in itself, but perhaps a little underdeveloped. It doesn't really help that Liu and Northam don't convince me much - that could be just me, but it doesn't make the film more palatable. Visually also a bit dull and a bit too ordinary, and the bland soundtrack doesn't help either. The same story with a couple of appealing actors and some strong images could have produced a topper.

Seen second time. Spacious 3.5. This film is not so much a thriller as an adventure film, which explains the necessary unforeseeable twists. The best example of this is Lucy Liu's appearance above the elevator shaft. I like adventure movies, especially if it's a sf movie.

Third time I think I see it, always with a few years in between so I don't remember too much of it. Every time I am immediately drawn into the story and all that mystery and those conspiracies arouse a lot of curiosity, which I can taste of course! Furthermore, it is all well put together, quite original movie .. Although there are sometimes too many plot twists and the final ending I thought was bland. Now this does not detract because the whole film you just want to know where it all leads.

The special effects leave something to be desired and there is such a light glow over the image throughout the film, but fortunately this is not annoying and it does improve the atmosphere.

And Lucy Liu, my god, what a beautiful woman. Although she should have taken that wig off from the start
