Black Swan plot

The sleepy seaside town of Hopeville is shaken to its foundations when a local merchant disappears. The police have serious suspicions that murder is involved. Meanwhile, Helen (Melanie Doane) feels trapped in Hopeville. Her job as a waitress and her boyfriend Carl (Michael Riley) who abuses her do not make her happy. Helen even begins to suspect Carl of the crime when several pieces of evidence surface. Meanwhile, she begins a seductive relationship with a mysterious traveler in the hopes that he will take her away from Hopeville.
