"The hunter becomes the hunted"
Jim Reed, a retired veteran, is on the prowl in the backcountry of Allagash in Northern Maine. He accidentally shoots a woman who was carrying a duffel bag containing a large sum of money. Things get out of hand when he encounters a group of criminals looking for the money.

Slow film with a deadly boring main character that makes the film never come to life. Not even with that snow, while (we all know Fargo) that should work just fine. The action never gets very special and the film fails on a dramatic level. Fortunately, the movie doesn't last too long. Although the film takes at least another 20 minutes to start with a boring focus on boring people, the film still looks away after that, but never comes close to anything interesting. 2.0*.

This movie never gets over the clunky script. The focus should have been on Berenger's character and the setting, not on a weak story about robbers. Less is more in this case, especially when it is so clumsily worked out. The movements of the characters in the forest cannot be followed, that the gunshots or a fire also betray no one's position is also special, especially because people keep running into each other.

Incredibly standard story
Bag of money from crooks, crooks chasing Tom , Tom shoots some dead, Tom gets shot in has a gunshot wound which apparently doesn't hurt at all, Tom falls into the water, Tom stumbles into a cave and makes a fire of the money and the next morning everything is suddenly dry again yes yes, of course and that gunshot wound doesn't seem to affect him at all anymore.... pffffffff well, ridiculous movie, old Tom elderly Tom against a bunch of young crooks yes yes, of course dude, those Tom can barely walk let alone run fast
