In the not-too-distant future, new advances in biotechnology will allow people to "travel" all over the world by shifting their consciousness to another body. Terrorists attack a key industrialist. Stefan Toffler is called in to solve this murder. He is transported to San Francisco in the body of the terrorists' leader. Then Toffler comes to the horrifying discovery that he has only two days to return to his own body...
