Blinded by the light of a falling meteor, David has a serious car accident, leading to a major discovery: an alien organism that may contain the secret of life itself. When David is missing for two days, Annabelle searches for her father and finds him wandering through the woods without a scratch. David's mysterious return draws the attention of the federal government and gives Annabelle reason to question his sanity. But David has a new sense of purpose, fueled by nightmarish visions. Driven by what he believes to be an alien purpose, David must convince Annabelle to believe him and let him do his job before the government agents can stop him and the world destroys itself.
