Rewind plot

Paul Mansart is serving a life sentence in a Berlin prison for his part in the murder of a diplomat. During the attack, his three accomplices and his fiancée Alice were shot dead by the police. Ten years later, a similar murder takes place and the French secret service suspects that there is a connection with the Mansart case. They enlist the help of the judge who was in charge of the investigation at the time and a group of well-known psychologists who have conducted groundbreaking research on virtual reality. They want Mansart to relive the attack and the period that preceded it, in the hope that this will provide clues.
