Monsters of War plot

May is mistreated by her husband and decides to leave him. She takes her children and gets into her car. During the journey, the threesome encounter a huge worm, which causes the car to break down. They are forced to continue on foot and meet other humans, who have also been attacked by giant creatures. They must work together to survive.
