During an experiment of inducing deep sleep that would be used for a long space journey, several scientists are killed at a research base in New Mexico. Apparently by machines starting to act independently. Security agent Sheppard arrives at the secret underground base to investigate possible sabotage. He determines that the entire installation is coordinated by the supercomputer NOVAC and its robots Gog and Magog. In addition, he discovers a strange flying object high in the sky that continues to orbit above the place.
