1921. Stephen and Conrad are cousins who live more like brothers and now live together. Victoria, their girl next door, is hooked on Stephen. A strange old professor shows up at the garden party and captivates them with his talk about time travel and other dimensions. Fifteen years later, they have not forgotten that. Now living with his mother, Stephen is a brilliant theoretical physicist obsessed with building a time machine, even though there are theories that suggest, with ninety-nine percent certainty, that changing the past is impossible.
