"The final frontier is not outer space. It is the human mind."
Due to the massive pollution of the planet, most people in cities live underground. The only fun they have left is a 'pleasure chip' that can be connected directly to the brain. Unfortunately, there are also a number of illegal chips that are tracked down by the dangerous Plughead, a robot agent employed by the government.
