When Sparks Fly plot
Young journalist Amy Peterson isn't as happy with her life in the big city as she'd hoped. It also doesn't click with her current boyfriend, the handsome businessman Phil. In need of an interesting article for her Independence Day newspaper, Amy is sent by her editor to her hometown to write an article about her childhood and her parents' fireworks business. When she arrives, she is soon appointed by her best friend Sammie as the wedding planner for her wedding to Hank, Amy's ex-boyfriend. While Amy tries to plan the wedding and write her article at the same time, her feelings for Hank begin to surface again.
