"THE DRAMA OF A WOMAN WHO LIVED TWO LIVES"
Venetia Carr is a recently impoverished, but previously wealthy young woman. Venetia now has to work in a nightclub as a hostess. There she meets the handsome, genteel and wealthy Arthur Ladden. Arthur hires her to animate for him at his weekend parties. Venetia starts helping him and she regains her lost wealth and genteel lifestyle. Unfortunately, her poor friend and artist Jack Williams knows nothing about her secret life. Problems arise when Jack finds out the truth.
