Vera - Die Frau des Sizilianers plot

The young Körner falls head over heels in love with the charming Sicilian Gillian. Despite all the prejudices and warnings, she clings to her great love. Gradually she also gets to know the dark side of Gillian. He gambles away all of her capital and is arrested for murder the day after the wedding. After his acquittal, the couple decides to move to Sicily.
