The Winds of Jarrah plot

Helen Marlow is the mother of three children for whom British Diana Venness comes to Australia to look after them. Their mother has gone wandering and Diana has been abandoned by her British fiancé. Now in Australia, there are two men fighting for Diana, the returning soldier Jock Farrell and the boozy, laconic Timber Marlow, the owner of the Tallwoods estate and the children's uncle. Diana has to make a choice with which man she wants to continue.
