Romance in the Wilds plot
Buck Thompson comes from a large family of forest managers. He currently serves as a liaison and guide for city magnate Martin Lamont, who represents the multinational and has acquired the mining rights in an effort to develop the adjacent land as he sees fit. During this process, Buck has to evict geologist Jessica Alaway and her protective dog, Charlie, from what was an unused forest cabin, he was unaware that Jessica was there or using it as a base for her work. But later, lightning strikes the mine site, sparking a deadly wildfire and sparking an unexpected romance between them as they race to escape the flames.
