Preferences plot
When Odelia, the daughter of Rhiannon's childhood friend, comes to stay for a few days, Rhiannon braces himself for the worst. Years ago, they couldn't stand each other. Odelia was ambitious, polite, and competitive—everything Rhiannon was not. But now things are different. They walk, talk, and reminisce about the past. Despite all the differences, a new bond is growing between the two.
