Engel Sucht Flügel plot
The Russian Maria comes to Frankfurt to participate in a piano competition. But once in Germany everything goes wrong. Her landlady is deceased, her piano has been sold to Hendrik and her suitcase with all her scores is stolen. Hendrik, however, lets her practice on the piano. He likes her, but Maria feels more for petty thief Caspari, until she finds out that he is the thief of her suitcase.
