Christmas on the Bayou plot
Katherine has emotional scars from a failed marriage and has plunged into her successful career. But her workaholic traits also affect her eight-year-old son Zack. Concerned about Zack's growing discontent, she decides to spend Christmas together in her hometown in the bayou countryside of Louisiana. Her childhood sweetheart Caleb tries to find that love again and wants her to come home again. Katherine hesitates between the bright lights of the big city and the quiet, softer rhythms of her hometown.
