Beauty and the Beast plot

Bella Dubois is the daughter of a merchant and sea captain. She decides to become a maid at Leon's castle, as her father cannot pay his debt to him at the moment. When Leon first meets Bella, he has passionate feelings for her for her bravery and she seems to understand his haunted memories. Their love blossoms but is met with opposition in the form of his jealous cousin.
