A Week Away plot
Will Hawkins is a troubled teenager. When he is arrested, he must make an important choice: to juvenile detention or to a Christian summer camp. At the camp, Will initially feels like a fish out of water, but he opens his heart, finds love with a girl who regularly visits the camp, and finally feels at home in the last place he expected.

An entertaining family film with musical elements. Part of the filming took place at the YMCA Camp Widjiwagan in Nashville, Tennessee.
The differences of opinion mainly concern the religious aspect. Personally, I was not so concerned with this. I treated it as a normal film. The story is very predictable, but not entirely boring. The dance scenes are nicely portrayed.
