Cuestión de Fe plot

Domingo "El Santero", a man who makes sacred images, and his assistant Pepelucho are instructed by the local mobster "Sapo Estívaris" to make a life-size Saint Mary. They then have to transport the huge statue to San Mateo, a village hidden in the heart of the Bolivian jungle. Gambler Joaquín offers to take the two and the statue in a secretly borrowed pick-up truck called "La Ramona". to forget, in which the three traveling companions get to know themselves better in addition to each other.
