The Wyvern Mystery plot
"Some family secrets can kill."
Early 19th century. Alice Maybell lives with the local landlord Fairfield who took her in as a child when both her parents died. Now she is a beautiful and self-confident woman. Dismayed by her patron's advances, she flees with her secret love, his eldest son Charles Fairfield, with whom she has a child. The two take up residence in a mysterious and sinister mansion. From then on, everything gets worse. For example, they are terrorized by an evil woman in black with a Transylvanian accent who literally comes from behind the woodwork, and their child disappears without a trace. Based on the novel by JS Le Fanu.
