Tantei Monogatari plot

Naomi is a college student who is going to college in America in a week. Her father hires Shuichi, a hopeless good-for-nothing, to watch over her as a bodyguard that week. Shuichi thinks it's a bad job and actually wants to quit. However, he also has an ex-wife who costs him a lot of money in alimony. Coincidentally, the two become involved in a murder that appears to involve the Yakuza. They decide to investigate the matter.
