Styria plot

"Love requires sacrifice."

Lara travels with her estranged father Dr. Hill to a dilapidated castle in Styria, a Hungarian village behind the Iron Curtain. In the nearby woods, Lara witnesses a car accident with Carmilla as the sole survivor. When Lara hides this beautiful and mysterious girl in the castle, an intense but chaotic friendship develops between the two. Meanwhile, the young women in Styria are slowly going mad. When it turns out that several local women have committed suicide, Lara wonders if Carmilla has something to do with it or if there is a dark secret behind it.
