Kenpei to Barabara Shibijin plot

It is 1937. Six months ago the Sendai infantry was dispatched to Manchuria. The remains of a young woman's body are found at the bottom of a well in the half-abandoned military base at Sendai. Because the military police investigation is difficult and the press gets wind of the case, Sergeant Kosaka is sent from Tokyo to find the culprit.
