"Can Sherlock Holmes resist the ultimate challenge?"
Professor Moriarty (Anthony Andrews) makes a spectacular escape when he is already under the gallows. He now wants to finally deal with his nemesis Sherlock Holmes (Edward Woodward) and Dr. Watson (John Hillerman). He also manages to steal classified documents from Sherlock's brother Mycroft's safe.
