Chinmoku no Paredo plot
Physicist Manabu Yukawa returns to Japan from America. Detective Kaoru Utsumi wants to discuss a case involving a popular girl who disappeared years ago. Her body has since been recovered and a suspect, previously arrested for the murder of another girl, has been released for lack of evidence. At the time, Detective Shunpei Kusanagi was working on the case. When the suspect is released and returns to his town, he is murdered not long after. Yukawa, Utsumi and Kusanagi then join forces to find out what happened.
