"A Love Mystery Drama of Scotland Yard"
Eve Mannering is the daughter of a wealthy Englishman Sir George Mannering. She marries the fortune hunter Eric Durand. Eric killed investigator Hilary Galt, who was hired by her father to investigate his past. After Eve learns of this, she leaves Eric again and joins Colonel John Beetham, an old friend of the family, who is going on an expedition. After a while, Eve leaves the expedition again because she doesn't want to get Beetham into her troubles and she then goes to San Francisco. Sir Frederic Bruce of Scotland Yard meanwhile investigates the murder case.
