While She Waits plot

In a subtle choreography, a woman slowly breaks away from a familiar and structured world, about to enter a world unknown to her. While she waits, the emotional transformation during the last months of her pregnancy is shown in a poetic and melancholic way. What happens during the long wait for the unknown to reveal itself? And how do we equate a born child with ourselves as a reborn mother?
