Veris Ubnis Melodiebi plot
In the early 20th century, old Tiflis is in turmoil. Vardo (Sofiko Chiaureli), the head of the washerwomen, is arrested on suspicion of theft. When the washerwomen threaten a strike, the citizens warn the police commissioner about the consequences of this strike. The whole city will be left with the dirty laundry.
