The Mikado plot

"Operetta, Musical"

An adaptation of the well-known operetta by the British duo Arthur Sullivan and William Gilbert, in which Nanki-Poo, the son of the mikado of Japan, takes center stage. Disguised as a wandering singer, he travels the country in search of the girl Yum-Yum, who is betrothed to her guardian Ko-Ko, the 'honorable lord chief executioner' of the country.
