The I Don't Care Girl plot
"The Wild and Wonderful Musical About the BAD Girl of Show Business!"
Indianapolis, 1912. The producer George Jessel discovers the entertainer duo Eddie McCoy and Eva Tanguay in a restaurant. Singers Larry Woods and Charles Bennett, who are under contract to George, get into an argument about Eva and both end up in the hospital. Eddie convinces George to temporarily replace Larry and Charles with 'his' Eve. According to him, Eva can also sing well. Soon it looks like Eddie has lost his partner Eva for good.
