Swing the Western Way plot
"SWING YOUR BLUES AWAY!"
Music promoter Jasper Jim Bandy maintains a romantic correspondence with Cornelia Catheridge, a poor member of the wealthy Catheridge family. Both think they have hooked up a mediated party. Bandy's cousin and rodeo star Bob Randall is engaged to Senator Darrow's daughter Jean Darrow. The senator has decided to sell his ranch, but has turned down an offer from Martin because he knows Martin wants to turn the ranch into a gambling palace. Members of the "Hoosier Hotshots" orchestra, who team up with Bandy, let Martin know that Bandy needs a ranch to impress Cornelia Catheridge. Martin gives Bandy the money to buy Darrow's ranch. When Martin starts turning the ranch into a gambling palace, Bandy confesses to Cornelia that he lied about his status. Conversely, Cornelia also confesses that she is not as rich as Bandy thinks.
