"IT'S A MUSICAL GAME OF HEARTS!"
Ilona Boros is a peasant girl with a beautiful voice. She becomes a pawn in the rivalry between operatic tenor Antal Kovach and his manager Zoltan Jason. Both men are in love with the beautiful but cold Countess Monica Foldesay. Antal plans to make Ilona a star so that Zoltan's attention will turn to her instead of the Countess, but his plan seems to fail.
