Moonlight in Havana plot
Johnny Norton, who loves to sing, is the star player of the Blue Sox baseball team, but he is banned for disobedience. Barney Crane, a producer, hears Johnny singing and hires him to appear with Gloria Jackson. Their first performance will take place in Havana. Johnny, hoping to get his baseball job back, can't wait to go to Cuba because the Blue Sox have a training camp there. Patsy Clark, the daughter of Blue Sox owner Joe Clark, helps Johnny with a second chance on the team. But Johnny falls in love with Gloria and doesn't want to lose her weight.
