Invitation to the Dance plot
Kelly uses no dialogue in this film but only dance to tell three stories. 1. A clown falls in love with a tightrope walker's girlfriend and climbs to the highest tightrope with his heartbreak; 2. Love antics during a ball for the wealthy bourgeoisie cause one disappointment after another; 3. At an oriental bazaar, the sailor Sindbad buys an antique teapot that turns out to contain a ghost.
