Hitchhike to Happiness plot
A famous radio singer takes a break from her career. She returns to New York to visit old friends. However, they do not know that she is a famous singer because she sings under a different name. She falls in love with a struggling songwriter and decides to turn his songs into a play in which some producers want her to play the lead role.
