H.M.S. Pinafore plot

The crew of HMS Pinafore are busy preparing for the arrival of Admiral Sir Joseph Porter. A short break is made when Little Buttercup comes by with her chap boat, but then everyone happily gets back to work. That is, not all of them, because Ralph Rackstraw is not so happy. Ralph is in love with the captain's daughter, Josephine, who will be married off to Porter.
