"Your HIT PARADE OF YOUNG ENTERTAINERS!"
Hairdresser Joe Costello lets his teenage daughter Trudy shave the customers while he plays the accordion himself. When one day Carol, a good friend of Trudy's, walks into the shop to report that the local music school is looking for new students, she won't let herself be told this twice. But school fees are quite a lot and money doesn't grow on trees.
